Falak Thaal

A sky of silver. The Falak Thaal is a large round brass thaal with a hammered centre that glimmers like moonlight on still water, framed by a finely engraved floral band and a softly scalloped rim. It’s finished in bright silver-tone nickel, and its generous size gives it presence on a table.

With proper care, your brass, marble and silver metal pieces can last for many years and keep their beauty.

Brass

Do

• Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth to prevent dirt from building up.
• To keep unlacquered brass shiny, polish it with a commercially available brass polish.
• After polishing, rub the brass with a cloth lightly moistened with olive or vegetable oil. This helps slow tarnish and gives a brighter finish.

Marble

Do

• Lightly spray with a mild soap solution, then wipe clean and dry with a soft cloth.
• Dust regularly to prevent dirt from building up.

Do not

• Do not use acidic cleansers, as they can erode the surface.
• Do not use chemical cleaners.
• Do not leave food on the marble for more than 2 hours when using it for serving.
• Avoid strongly coloured foods and liquids, as they can stain the marble.

Silver Metal

Clean gently to avoid scratching or damaging the surface.

Do

1. Dust with a soft, dry cloth to remove loose dirt.
2. Wipe the surface gently with a damp cloth or sponge, using light pressure.
3. Dry thoroughly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or towel.

Do not

• Do not serve acidic foods.
• Do not use chemical cleaners.
